NACD’s Access for All program provides a tuition-free pathway to a rewarding career in the trades. In this program, students gain hands-on experience and the skills needed to succeed in fields like carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and more.

What is Access for All?

Get ready to jump into the world of construction with this robust pre-apprenticeship program! This 9-week program prepares you for apprenticeships in the construction trades.

Our free pre-apprenticeship programs have helped thousands of job seekers get the training they need, earn industry recognized credentials, and jumpstart a thriving career in a high-wage, high-demand occupation. Through the program, you can expect:

  • Earn While You Learn: We cover the cost of your certification exam, so you can focus on your studies.

  • Get Industry-Recognized: MC3, OSHA, Lead/Asbestos, and CPR credentials available.

Program Requirements

To qualify for Access for All at NACD, you must:

  1. Be 18 years of age or older

  2. Have a valid driver’s license

  3. Possess a high school diploma or GED

  4. Pass a drug test, criminal background check, and physical exam
